Looks like the piston seized in the cylinder then the piston rod eye let loose and then the jangle dangling rod beat a hole in the cylinder then the wrist pin hung in the hole then pulled the rod cap off.:p

The right bolt of the rod is relatively intact, so, my theory is a follows.
First, rod looses cap from intact bolt.
As the rod cap loosens up it beats the piston on the head breaking the piston to rod connection(can't remember the name).
Once it is loose from the piston it beats the skirt off and busts the block until seizing enough to break the remaining rod bolt off.
That is why it is no longer rounded.
Just a theory.
