man that guy needs to drop the price again at least a grand to 1500. he had that thing so ragged out. i gave him a 3 day advance that i was going to come look at it...and when i got there i swear i was standing outside the car for 5 minutes waiting for him to clean it out. when i sat down in the passenger seat the whole floorboard rocked back and forth...and when i asked him about it he said, "i dont know whats wrong with it, i dont sit on that side." and then acted like i was imaging things or something. i wouldnt trust buying that car because the guy is such a freakin idiot.

Lol that sucks man I had never looked in it or anything so I had no clue what it was like. That guy might be buying a NSX believe it or not so it should be pretty funny. I will keep a look out for ya though.

yea...and guess what else he told me. he said he bought a new radiator for it..a STEEL radiator to replace the PLASTIC one that came with it from the factory. and he had one of those gauges (the medical thing not sure on the spelling) around the cold air intake hosing for an extra heat shield. pretty sure he is the dumbest person ive ever met. but appreciate the look out for the car noah!

The same guy talked to me at work about that 93'prelude I'm not big into imports so I just listened to him tell me about it. He said it had a newer motor and a couple sets of wheels. Its the same guy because he said he was thinking of a NSX. I don't how much that stuff is worth-I remember Charlie Martin had that same bodystyle prelude with all the crap on it and it ran like a 10-someting in the 1/8TH. Very not impressive.

Don't rule it out completely. He could have gone with the JDM H22A TypeS from the 97'-98'. They are 220hp 163trq 11.0 compression. He could have easily bought a complete change over for around 3,000... so hopefully he's not full of ..... If you do bother to take the time to look at it again, look for a red valve cover. I would say it is worth the money if it has this engine, even if there are a few cosmetic querks with it. My $.02.
