Bowling Green, Sikeston, Gleason(sp?), TN...Those are are closest options. I wish everyone would do they're racing on the track, but since its not open 24/7, 365, it wont happen.

I think Gleason will be open at the top of February. I'll look forward to seeing some of you there...

I have yet to go to any track event. I would like to go once at least to see what these things are all about, and maybe even run the dx once she's up and running again just to see what kind of times she'll do.

if I get my temporary engine plan done before the end of the season (which I prolly will) I'll definatly go to gleason at least once.

Bracket Racing is much more intense than racing motor to motor as some people don't have the time or money to keep up with some of us so a race against the clock is the best way to go. If evenly matched then motor to motor is the way to go, tracks keep things even whereas the street is just abotu whos got more power and not whos a better driver. Unless evenly matched in HP like I said before.

twisted ga is right racing at the track is way more fun than racing on the street. I have did both and i would lots rather race at the strip than on the street cause i think it actually proves whos car is faster cause you have a time slip. and bracket races is fun cause everybody basically has the same chance of winning. everybody needs to get together when the tracks open and have a big track night it would be fun cause i know me and a few of my buddys always get together and go . we have a blast when we all follow each other there and then race when we get there. but i highly doubt that half of the people will ever go to the drag strip.

if i wanna have fun in my car all i have to do is drive it. ;) it might not rip my face off in a straight line but i dont have to lift my right foot off the gas pedal and hammer the brakes when the road bends.

I race at most of the local tracks, (Windy, Beech bend, Chandler, Louisville, St.Louis, Indy, Clarksville, Nashville) Nothing is more fun than trying to slow a car down from 120mph with skimpy VX brakes and 8lbs of air in the front tires :)
