looking to turbo my car. what do yall think bout having someon put on a 1g turbo on my car. i know someone who will do it for $300 installed

Hmm....so your saying a complete turbo setup for under 1,500? If so, I wouldn't trust it. There's a reason turbo kit's cost 3,500+ and its quality.... Just keep saving and get something you know is going to do its job and not blow a rod out the hood of the car.... You could even do the install yourself with a little searching on the web...

You might ask Daniel about his old 2nd gen DSM nonturbo with the Star stage 2 turbo kit. Installing the home brew turbo on a nonturbo vehicle is the easy part. Getting it to run smoothly and not blow something up in the process is the difficult part. It can be done, but when you can just go out and buy a factory turbo car that's almost just like yours, it might not be worth the extra trouble.

PS - the factory turbo car is going to have beefier internals when you inevitably get the urge to crank the boost up past 15 or so.

hahahah yeah if i have something turbod i will prolly turn it up, i dont know what im going to do i just dont like having a slow car
