white 80's BMW 5 series?

I was running some errands (in the Miata) while in the vicinity of Paducah Tilghman. A white 80's BMW 5 series revved on me as it drove past - it was lowered with 5-spoke wheels. Anyone on here?

that guy who used to have the cool old school vw beetle. His name is like a page long... it's like hoodsomethinglongandhard? I just remember it was really long and started with hood. I know that guy had a old 5 series that was pretty sweet. Unless he sold it. Adison is friends with him.
